Returns Policy


Leading Labels is confident that you will be happy with your purchase(s).  However in the event that you are not completely satisfied with your order you have the right to cancel your order and apply for a full refund for the value of the product provided you notify us within 14 days from the date the order was delivered. Consumers should return items in their original condition with labels and tags attached within 14 days of notifying us.

Extended Christmas Returns Policy

We've have extended our returns policy for the Christmas season. Items ordered via Leading Labels website during the period from 1 December 2017 to 31st December 2017 (inclusive), may be returned at any time before midnight on 15th January 2018.

Our returns policy will revert to the standard 14 day period for items dispatched after 31 December, 2017.

  • Returns Policy

    Leading Labels is confident that you will be happy with your purchase(s). However in the event that you are not completely satisfied with your order we will give you a full refund for the value of the product provided you notify us within 14 days from the date the order was delivered.

    In order to do so the item(s) must be in new, unworn condition with all packaging and garment tags still attached. We cannot accept any used items; such items will be directly returned to the purchaser. Please note that for hygiene reasons, we cannot offer a refund or exchange on any underwear or swimwear products that have been worn. We reserve the right to refuse a refund for items returned that are not in a re-saleable condition.

    You are responsible for the cost of returning items to us and you need to inform us and obtain a Returns Authorisation Number prior to returning any items. You are then responsible for returning the goods to us using packaging and a method which is suitable for the safe return of the goods. We reserve the right to refuse a refund for items returned that are not in a re-saleable condition due to damaged incurred during the return.

    Please note that all items returned to Leading Labels are the responsibility of the customer until they arrive at the Leading Labels returns department.

    Currently we do not accept any returns to a Leading Labels Store. All returns must be made to our Returns Department:

    We will only refund the price of the item to the purchaser once it is received by us. Please allow up to seven working days for items to reach us, and a further fourteen days for the credit to show in the purchaser’s account.

    For all returns we do not offer a refund of the original delivery charge unless we made an error in the original order or the goods are faulty.

  • Returning an Unwanted Item.

    To return an item you must first obtain a Returns Authorisation Number or RAN. No returns can be accepted that do not specify a valid RAN.

    To obtain a RAN either:

    1. Sign-in to your account on the website and use the Request Return button.

          a. Click My Account from the top right menu

          b. Click Order History (3rd option down)

          c. Your orders are displayed, select click here under Order Details and tracking next to the order you wish to return.

          d. Scroll down and click the Request Return button.


    2. Telephone or email customer services.

    Once you have a RAN number all you need to do is print and fill out a Returns Form which can be obtained from here.


    You now have two options:


    1. Use the prepaid label at your local post office; we will deduct a returns postage fee of £2.95 from your refund unless your goods are faulty or we have made an mistake processing your order.


    2. At your own expense use your own courier or pay at the post office and send your returns package to: Returns Dept, Leading Labels Ltd, Unit 2 Millfield Lane Trading Estate, Nether Poppleton, York YO26 6PB. We strongly recommend the use of an insured and traceable postal service (e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery) for all returned parcels.

    In all cases, please return the items in their original condition, the item(s) must be in new, unworn condition with all packaging and garment tags still attached. It can take up to 7 days for us to receive your return, depending on which postal service you use.

  • Returning a Faulty Item

    Our apologies if you think your goods are faulty, please let us know and obtain a Returns Authorisation Number.

    You can then send them back to us for inspection using the returns label provided. If the item is faulty you will not be charged for the use of the returns label.

    If you do not have a returns label, click here to view and print one from the website. Return of faulty items is not limited to 14 days.

    Items declared to be faulty will be inspected, if the goods are deemed to be faulty we will refund you the full amount paid for the goods.

  • Returning an Incorrect Item

    Our apologies if we have made a mistake; please let us know and obtain a Returns Authorisation Number.

    You can then send the incorrect items back to us using the returns label provided. Since we have made a mistake you will not be charged for the use of the returns label.

    If you do not have a returns label, click here to view and print one from the website.

    Return of faulty items is not limited to 14 days. Once we receive the goods back we can either refund the full amount or send out the correct item should you still require it.

  • Exchanging an Item

    Leading Labels cannot currently process exchanges, we recommend that you return the original item for an item refund and place a new order for the item you require.

  • How long will it take to receive a refund?

    Please allow up to seven working days for items to reach us, and a further fourteen days for the credit to show in the purchaser’s account, in practice however, refunds are generally much quicker than this.

    Note, refunds can only be made to the original card the purchaser used.
